JLin Ceremonial Dodgers Pitch
Admin’s Note: Let’s add main videos/pictures in the post as we’re adding extra ones in the comments. I’ll do the same for Media Day.
On Sept 27, 2014, Lin was invited to throw the 1st ceremonial pitch in the Dodgers Baseball stadium. This event is usually extended for honorary guests (i.e. artists, politician, non-baseball athletes, etc.)
Lin actually coached the catcher Joc Pederson (guy who caught the baseball) back in Palo Alto to play basketball with Lin’s younger brother!
Last night @JLin7 threw out the 1st pitch at Dodger Stadium to his buddy @yungjoc650. More: http://t.co/4pFILkg7mP https://t.co/zKfRlMVZop

Jeremy announced, “It’s time to play Dodgers baseball!!!” with quite a flair. (a little Gangnam Style thrown in there) 😆
It's time for @Dodgers baseball. https://t.co/uVKixnFJe9

In Access SportsNet interview with Jeremy Lin at Dodgers Stadium, Jeremy shared about his expectations with the Lakers. At one point, Nomar Garciaparra (6x All-Star MLB ex-baseball player) provided a funny moment when saying, “You played for Knicks … now you’ll be playing for the Lakers” without any mention of Houston stopover for 2 years (mark 1:41)
Jeremy also threw a playful twitter job teasing his new teammate, Nick Young, who did not fare very well in throwing his own 1st pitch.
Warming up! Haven't thrown a baseball since P.E. class … @nickswagypyoung do you have any tips? http://t.co/bznJWpnpI7
