G14 Brooklyn Nets (4-9) Needs to Rediscover Defense vs Boston Celtics (8-6)

COUNTDOWN CLOCK

3 Dec 19:30
Milwaukee Bucks @
Time to kickoff
5 hours, 14 minutes

Jeremy Lin is still ruled out for this game but Brooklyn Nets really needs to discover defense to stop the 4-game losing streak even without him.

He also posted on Instagram how he missed playing ball and is waiting patiently with #eyeofthetiger hashtag. Interestingly, he wore a mohawk hairstyle from last season with the Nets jersey.

I miss ๐Ÿ€ #waitingpatiently #eyeofthetiger

Brooklyn is allowing 113.3 points per game overall but in this skid, the Nets have allowed 126.2 points per game and no fewer than 27 points in the 12 quarters. Besides the points, the Nets allowed opponents to shoot at least 50 percent in three of those games and are among the worst defensive teams in shooting percentage and other areas.

“It’s been consistent for the past four games. It’s just different teams, but we’ve been the same,” center Brook Lopez said. “A lot of it’s the same. It’s not any one person, glaringly obvious. It’s just team-wide, whatever it is. I don’t think you can fault our effort or energy. … It’s a team-wide situation we need to figure out.”

KEY OF THE GAME:ย The Nets simply has to find a way to play the gritty defense to contest every shot and not allow opponents to shoot >50% shooting if they hope to stop the losing streak.

Let’s hope and pray JLin will come back soon to help the Nets get back on the winning track, and most importantly finish the game healthy!

Let’s go, JLin and the Nets!ย

1st, Lin only played 4.5 games, now has missed 9 games. Hope no more game missing.

  • Barry Allen

Yeah Lin has missed twice the number of games that he has played in now.

  • Steppen03

Yes, I agree. I think it Can be something wonderful and even magical when JL7 come back and start where he left off except this time around the team is more prepared to take off and hold the fort.
Offense leads to defense. JL7 is a leader in both regards. I don’t expect everything to be good without him on the floor. He’s one of the heart and soul. The Nets need him in order to be competitive.

  • aggressiveplayer

Wow, was thinking Lin was going to be back this game vs the Celtics. Now that it’s confirmed he won’t be playing.. He could easily be missing 2-3 more games.. Ugh.. Hope he returns vs the Pacers but it looks unlikely at this point..

  • psalm234

    2-3 with Lin
    2-6 without Lin

At this point, the only positive I can think is JLin should be an All-Star if he can get them over 0.500 by February

    @APOOCH
Jeremy Lin will miss his 9th consecutive game (hamstring). He hasn’t played since November 2nd when Nets were 2-3. They’re currently 4-9.

  • orLinaryjoe

If they do break .500 by then, that would not be a small feat. Anything can happen.

  • aggressiveplayer

Jeremy Lin.. please save us =(

  • psalm234

very true. a lot of things would have to go right.

LeVert would need to play and contribute, experienced backup PG signed in Dec, and most importantly team defense needs to be middle-of-the-pack. Lin can empower the sputtering offense and some D but the whole team needs to be energized.

  • cdblue10

This is not the year where Nets want to win games, they just want to develop their youngsters and give them the best possible time to mature. If Lin comes back expect for Lopez to be put on injury list.

  • aggressiveplayer

I highly doubt we can become an elite defensive team this year, but middle of the pack definitely seems viable.

  • aggressiveplayer

Why would Lopez be put on the injury list?

  • Geoffrey

anyone watching the San Antonio vs Charlotte game tonight? what happened last time San Antonio visited Charlotte? Ramon Sessions to the rescue!

  • kittyhead

Means they want to lose on purpose so they will force Lopez to rest…just like what they do to Lin now lol

  • aggressiveplayer

Lol.. they aren’t trying to lose on purpose.

  • Grace

So you mean Lin didn’t really injure his hamstring?

  • DX

Can’t agree. Develop young player isn’t meaning must lose game. So far, Nets has used their best available players in every game. They didn’t use young players ahead other better ones.

  • Lin Dunn

I will be watching and rooting for Spurs. Their last game vs an inured Mavericks was sloppy hope Pop fixed the problem.

  • Spot

    Wait psalm. Season’s just started

  • cdblue10

Nets is looking for long term not short term winning culture, this is one of those growing pains that a rebuilding team will endure.Having a major injuries on franchise players will be more devastating than going into playoff w/o any chance of advancing.

  • Lin Dunn

Even if a starter is injured doesn’t mean the team has to lose. Look a how Pop chided the Spurs for sloppy play last game vs Mavericks. Pop rest Alridge and Parker and use rookies as starters, but when they turned over the ball and played poor defense even though they won, Pop publicly called them pathetic. Pop had expectations that everyone plays well. If Nets /KA are copying the Spurs start expecting everyone to try their best to win.

  • aggressiveplayer
  • takeme2cruz

…..and what’s the schedule? Day to day, weeks or months?

  • sws94

I understand resting Lin until he’s healed to minimize the risk of further injury, but I’d like a little more information. My guess is Lin’s hamstring strain was more extensive than Foyes.

  • aggressiveplayer

    Day to day hopefully..

  • aggressiveplayer

Not sure, all I hope is that he returns soon. If he’s able to run at 80%, then he should almost be there, right?

  • sws94

I wish they’d say that. No timetable keeps everyone guessing. He’s not even doubtful any games. Just out every game.

  • aggressiveplayer

Yea.. No time table is about as vague as you can get. I should have known better when he first said no timetable that it would be more than two games though..

  • CJSHYY

“cautious and smart” means what? He will not be back until next week?

  • aggressiveplayer

    Still early

  • CJSHYY

What’s wrong w this O system? smh! I am out. so bad.

  • LimitedEdition

I can safely declare that the NETS are the worst team in the NBA right now.

  • Guest

Not yet, that title belongs to Philadelphia.

  • Barry Allen

Well that team is intentionally trying to tank lol. Nets have no reason to.

  • LimitedEdition

The 76ers are looking good recently and if they win tonight (likely) they will surpass the NETS

  • sport

No they haven’t Chris McCullough should be getting starter minutes with his athleticism, scoring ability and height! He’s the only Nets who could catch and make an Olley-opp so far! Harris should be a starter and guys like Foye and RHJ should not even be playing.

  • sport

I’m so glad the ball is going through Bog and he’s the main ball handler for the offense! Besides Scola and Lin, he’s the only one I trust to handle the ball, make plays, or go to the rim or 3 for himself. Guys like Foye and RHJ can’t set up teammates for shots or create shots for themselves.

  • Alaingrvis

People shouldnt use these recent games as evidence of how bad the nets are. All these teams who beat us are preetty good teams. Lakers just beat okc. This is a regular tough strech for the nets. It will even out relax. Lin will be back soon, so we will have a better chance against better teams

  • DX

    Nonsense.

  • DX

Lin stop taking notes in this game. What’s that mean?

  • ty

Just being the productive dude that he is… not wanting to waste an opportunity to contribute to the team

  • Elon Musk

    link for stream?

  • YESYESYES

I think he cannot wait to play.

  • YESYESYES

have you changed your mind after watching 2nd quarter? i have. But i hope they do the same in 3,4 as 2

  • Nets are keeping it a close game!

  • sws94

Is this for real? No 3Q meltdown and staying with them?

  • Alaingrvis

    wrong

  • sws94

    Spoke too soon. Not good.

  • YESYESYES

    Refs on Celtics side.

  • YESYESYES

I don’t think Atkinson is trying to win this game.

  • YESYESYES

    it is a scheduled L

  • Singapore BB Fan

Trying not to lose this game.

  • Guest

Nets are doing their best to win. Unfortunately Boston and the refs do not want the Nets to win.

  • aggressiveplayer

Enough of this. I’m tired of hearing this.

  • YESYESYES

    I think he heard me.

  • sws94

    Me too.

  • sws94

RHJ won’t be back in the game.

  • sport

Went to get dinner and came back to a very intense game with players going at each other and trading baskets. Woohoo go Nets!!

  • aggressiveplayer

Sigh.. I’m not liking how unlucky we are with these injuries..

  • sport

RHJ shouldn’t even be playing at all. He needs to go to D league along with Foye both are horrible.

  • sport

Wow I just joked about whether it would take RHJ and Foye getting injured before Atkinson realized they should be gone like Vasquez. I didn’t think my prediction would come true. O_O

  • sport

Wow great block by Kilpatrick! Woot!! Come on lets win this!

  • YESYESYES

I think Nets cannot win more games until Lin and LeVert are back

  • sws94

Now Whitehead goes straight from the court to the locker room holding his wrist.

  • aggressiveplayer

ughhhhhhhhhh flakfl;w nlgl;w this could not be any worse..

  • sport

This closing lineup should be the starting lineup since forever! Harris should be starting and Booker should be benched when Lin’s back and we are good to go!

  • Barry Allen

    Lopez to play point center?

  • sws94

Nets have a long way to go as a team. I like the hustle and spirit, but there’s a lot of work to get this into a team that can win games, execute defensively and offensively when they need to.

  • sport

All these injuries something must not be right with Nets’ trainer staff!

  • sport

It would be easier if KA was playing the right players. We’ve been saying forever that RHJ should go to D league yet somehow he was a starter. You start your best players like McCullough who didn’t get any minutes this game. We’ve seen what this 1st draft pick can do, olley opp, get to the rim and shoot 3s. His height will give Nets a huge boost too better than guys like Foye who shouldn’t be getting minutes.

  • YESYESYES

    Development, Development , Development

  • Dorothy

But we don’t even know who will be back next season. We maybe develop for other teams lol

  • sport

Tanking Tanking Tanking, what’s the difference? -_-

  • sport

LOL Thank You! KA is not a very good coach! His motion offense doesn’t work, he has no plays, doesn’t play the right lineups (where is McCullough?!!), restricts minutes when starting players needs 30+ minutes to do well!

  • YESYESYES

    exactly

  • YESYESYES

With Lin out, Nets does not have much choice.

  • CJSHYY

I agree w you on KA. He really has no idea what to do when the game is not good besides developing young?? These young players should go to DL for developing not in important 4Q… smh!

  • sport

Oh please their issue is not Lin! it’s the coach, the offense, and not playing the right players, lineups, and minutes! I just joked that it would take RHJ and Foye both injured for KA to see they shouldn’t be playing, now 1 down, 1 more to go. Those 2 don’t belong on the team and should go to d league.

  • Barry Allen

Development of future D-league stars. Maybe even for China and European leagues.

  • takeme2cruz

There’s a fine line between thinking out of the box and stupidity.

  • Barry Allen

life is like a box of chocolates.

  • Barry Allen

players tend to get injured a lot on losing teams.

  • sport

lol Totally agree with you guys! So many of these guys, RHJ, Foye, Whitehead might be gone from the league before we know it. This development excuse is no different from tanking. KA doesn’t care about winning and is a clueless coach.

  • takeme2cruz

My best buddy always uses that.lol

  • sport

The lineups Atkinson plays are also a box chocolates don’t know which crappy player KA will forcefull and blindly throw into the starting lineup when better players on the team deserve the start and/or minutes more!

  • sport

He also never makes adjustments for 2nd half of the game that’s why the team also goes into deficit in 3rd quarter.

  • CJSHYY

Ya! Since preseason… today it’s game 14 already…. reporters, fans all can see something wrong w 3rdQ but not KA? smh!

  • Vincent

    any news on lin?

  • sport

Seriously the starting lineup should be Lin, Lopez, Bog, Harris, and (Kilpatrick or McCullough). I don’t care if McCullough is listed as PF, both him and Lopez can shoot 3s and get to the rim. Even better McCullough can play PnR (make Olley-Opp) and is so far the only player to display that. Yet for some dumb reason he wasn’t given minutes at all this game! Benching a 1st round draft pick who showed off such amazing skills is stupid!

  • sport

He’s just clueless just like he’s clueless about who to start and who to give minutes too. He has an infactuation with crappy D league players like RHJ and Foye when 1st round draft pick like McCullough who’s shown to be a stud is rotting on the bench!

  • CJSHYY
  • KHuang

Bogdanovic isn’t even playing his natural SF position right now.

  • CJSHYY
  • KHuang

The Nets need Lin to come back and SCREAM at Lopez and ESPECIALLY Booker and RHJ for constantly being caught out of position defensively.

  • David Kim

    James harden averaging 28.6 ppg , 7.8 rpg , 12.4 apg…

  • KHuang

So what, that’s a totally different team with a totally different roster and totally different coach.

  • kauaiblue

Just got back from the game… man, this team is bad… lopez is sooo soft and rhj is terrible… there is not a shot that bog doesnt like… defense is bad and no one rebounds… jeremy wasnt doing much on bench… he was without an ipad and didnt do much except cheer… the barclays center had more celtics fans and i was like one of only 3 people who wore jlin jersey… am i missing something?… jlin doesnt seem to be that popular other than with asian folks… i dont see much hype surrounding him…

  • KHuang

When Lin comes back, the Nets will lock into a higher level of play after a few games of fumbling around.

Also, I keep writing that Lin won’t go down again this season after he returns.

With Greivis Vasquez mercifully gone, at least Lin doesn’t have to overexert himself to get his teammates (especially bench) to play harder and better. Cutting Vasquez might have saved the season, though Vasquez’s lazy disinterested play is a major cause of Lin’s overexertion injury.

  • takeme2cruz

What the nets n KA doing is not helping lin, they’re hurting him

  • KHuang

No, they’re helping Lin by not rushing Lin back.

  • KHuang

Look, the Nets home crowd has experienced only like 2 regular season games of Lin!

OF COURSE they’re not “into” Lin – YET. They barely know how to spell his last name!

Don’t you worry, Lin returning will IGNITE the Nets crowd!

  • takeme2cruz

At the end of the season, people only remember lin couldn’t be a starter or leader, he’s injury prone.

  • kauaiblue

I really hope so! It was depressing as a jlin fan… my friend said he thinks nets need a better pg… i was surprised… maybe other net fans think same? I didnt see more than 3 jlin jerseys…

  • KHuang

    WHO CARES what “people remember”???

We are Lin fans, we stuck with Lin while everybody else was hating him and we’ll stick with Lin no matter how this season goes!

  • takeme2cruz

In this business, you’re the forgotten if you’re doing nothing for so longm

  • Vintage

At this point, health is more important than perception. Lin’s got his team now. It’s all about the long term. No need to take unnecessary risks to change what other people think.

  • KHuang

Your friend is RIGHT about the Nets needing a better PG.

Another capable PG to come off the bench behind Lin, that would be great!

And right now, Lin is completely unknown to Nets fans. So your friend is justified in wishing for a better pg.

  • Click Click

  • takeme2cruz

We real lin fans only enough to fill a sport bar. Most lin fans are just casual.

  • KHuang

    Uhhh, NO.

Since when did a player be “forgotten” when he has only missed about 10 games and has played only 2?

Lin hasn’t even done enough for the Nets to be remembered – but nobody is writing off his entire career either.

  • KHuang

And you ACTUALLY CARE what people think of Lin?

    I sure don’t.

I follow players that PRODUCE – and few if any players produce more than Lin especially since Lin has had harder circumstances than anybody I’ve ever seen in the NBA!

  • KHuang

If that’s what they remember, then they’re DUMB AND WRONG.

  • takeme2cruz

Health is important at any point. Lin is not playing or straight up info from the nets had nothing to do with his health

  • KHuang

    NO NO NO.

You don’t know that, you shouldn’t INVENT rumors like that.

  • takeme2cruz

Keeping him out is not the way of producing khuang.

  • Grace

Unless they bought their tickets long in advance, most Lin fans will not show up if they know Lin won’t play.

  • takeme2cruz

I know that by him running hard for 45 mins . Not rumor.

  • KHuang

    NO NO NO.

Running for 45 minutes doesn’t mean Lin is ready for NBA game bashing!

  • kauaiblue

I guess so but i was surprised… i saw joe johnson jerseys, garnett net jerseys, kidd jersey, etc., guys that arent even there anymore…

  • KHuang

Reinjuring Lin and having him miss the rest of the season is EVEN WORSE.

    Let Lin come back HEALTHY.

  • takeme2cruz

No time table when will lin come back. And when he is back with a broken glass only make him look bad or worse.

  • KHuang

You be pessimistic about Lin dying in the NBA, go ahead.

I’ve followed the NBA too long to be like you.

  • KHuang

    Correct.

  • Grace

That’s the loyal Nets fanbase pre-Lin.

  • KHuang

Those are likely Celtics fans hoping for the Nets to do poorly for the traded draft pick.

  • takeme2cruz

Yesyesyes. He didn’t have any surgery to requine rehab. This is hamstring, once the paint is gone, you’re back otherwise you sit n you you don’t run

  • Click Click

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  • KHuang

    NO NO NO NO.

You’re so wrong, you’d get laughed out of any doctor’s office spewing your incorrect information!!!

  • takeme2cruz

Who said he has to play 40 mins?

    All business takes risk.

  • takeme2cruz

I was so correct. Lin is 100% healthy

  • Grace

First you have to participate in full contact team practices.

  • KHuang

    Uhhh, NOBODY said 40 minutes.

Sticking an injured player back in a game, THAT causes reinjury.

Besides, Lin’s not going to get injured once he comes back after the Nets have fully handled him properly. He’ll come back strong and have a magnficent season now that Vasquez is no longer around to poison the Nets with his laziness and negative production. WATCH.

  • takeme2cruz

Lin’s upper body is 1000% healthy n his legs are fine.

  • KHuang

That is one of the DUMBEST posts I’ve ever seen recently.

  • KHuang

    Exactly.

The Nets coaches are handling Lin properly, based on what I’ve seen other NBA teams do with hamstring injuries.

  • takeme2cruz

It’s you who is dumb khuang. Lin ran hard so he can play.

  • KHuang

    STOP LYING, TROLL.

You think you’re smarter than the NBA coaches and Lin himself?

You’re not. KNOW YOUR PLACE, TROLL.

  • takeme2cruz

Lin is a toughest sob I had ever seen including all race. Lin plyed one ankle and got the Hornets back in playoff. I need to say no more.

  • takeme2cruz

Lying? You’re a damn crazy poster here. You do not know the nets agendas that’s why u think they are protected lin.

Day one, lin is not their QB because they n KA wanted motion offense.

  • KHuang

You’re crazier than me by far, you’re the one openly claiming that Lin himself is LYING about being unable to play.

Are you calling Lin a LIAR?

  • takeme2cruz

He’s 28 in his prime, once it passes, it’s over

  • KHuang

    So what?

    ALL players retire eventually.

    BIG WHOOP.

  • takeme2cruz

    Thanks for telling the true.

BECAUSE LIN HASN’T HIT HIS ALTIMATED GOAL YET, NOWHERE NEAR.

  • KHuang

    Only in YOUR mind.

For me, Lin has played magnificently well every season.

If he suddenly could not play in the NBA anymore after today, I’d still be very happy with Lin’s overall career.

Sure he can do more – and he will once he returns. So QUIT YER BELLYACHING about Lin NOT returning, other NBA point guards are far more messed up physically than Lin is!

  • takeme2cruz

For you? Is that from your mind too?

To me lin is nowhere near he could be yet. But this bulsheet of keeping him out without reason or time table tells me what the $@!# are the Nets doing?

  • Vincent

    cut the horse hockey now!

  • KHuang

I don’t think Atkinson can do much at this point to change the outcome of these games with Lin out.

The only minor tweaks I do are:

    1) Start Hamilton over Booker. However, the downside of this is that Hamilton off the bench means that the Nets have starting caliber center play even when Lopez rests. Still, I like the idea of the Nets having a twin tower lineup that even Atkinson says is very effective.

    2) Send RHJ to the D-league, he doesn’t belong on a NBA roster. I’d start Bojan at the 3 and Harris at the 2, bring Kilpatrick off the bench.

    3) Start Yogi instead of Whitehead, Yogi is more NBA ready than Whitehead is.

    4) More minutes to both Bennett and MacCullough, consider starting CMC and send Booker to the bench.

None of these tweaks would likely help the Nets except maybe sending RHJ to the D-League, but it would at least make the Nets more competitive and watchable.

  • KHuang

You want to keep insisting that LIN IS LYING about being unable to play, you go ahead and do that.

What is it about Lin that causes you to call him out for LYING THAT HE CANNOT PLAY?

  • takeme2cruz

Just one simple thing for KA n the nets to to if they wanted to get back to the season.,

    Put lin back

    Give him the authority

Abandon brok the 3 point shooter, occasionally only.

  • KHuang

Now that I totally agree with!

Lin has the authority on the court, whether Atkinson likes it or not!

  • takeme2cruz

He needs to wipe out the motion offense since they had no nba talert in all 5 positions n bench

  • KHuang

A true motion offense actually would allow Lin to call his own plays, move guys into position.

Lin likes the double stack (horns), the postup, the sideline pick and roll, and the flex cut off the ball to the 3 point line.

We’ll be seeing actual plays of that nature once Lin returns.

  • takeme2cruz

    He needs to sit oit

  • takeme2cruz

Wrong. That would allow anyone to call play randomly.

  • KHuang

    I am RIGHT.

That’s how the best motion offenses are run in any basketball league. That’s how textbooks write it and how coaches scheme it and how players run it.

A motion offense, properly run, doesn’t mean no plays and no structure.

That said, random motion offense does not work in the NBA because opponents are too good defensively in stopping basic motion. So Lin will have to add actual plays, just as Lin has on all of his previous teams.

If anything, part of the problem on this Nets team is that players are TOO reliant on Lin’s playcalling and playmaking! That’s why Lin got overexerted in the first place, producing for other guys who don’t have enough game to produce for themselves!

  • takeme2cruz

If lin had surgery n need time to rehab etc…then ok…..

He has hamstring and got back running…..HE’S READY.

I just want to know what the heck is the nets doing without telling the public the basic details?

  • KHuang

I just want to know why you insist that LIN IS A LIAR.

Lin doesn’t believe he’s ready to play, why do you say that Lin is lying about his health?

  • takeme2cruz

No you not, that’s why we are where we are.

  • Joe what do you know

BOG as PG? Really? I hate watching him handling the ball. He forces it too much and in the process fumbles the ball or even results in turnovers for the opposing team to have an easy fast break point. He might have the IQ to create shots for himself but he seriously lacks handles. In my opinion he is even worse than Batum in terms of creating turnover issues for his team. Batum often turns the ball over due to his lazy passing, BOG just loses the ball during driving penetrations.

  • takeme2cruz

Lin is no liar, he just has to do with what the organization wanted to go.

  • Vincent

khuang is right man stop fighting now please

  • KHuang

Oh, so you continue to insist that Lin is LYING that he can only sit on the bench despite being perfectly healthy?

You REALLY want to insist that LIN IS LYING???

  • KHuang

    NO.

You are brand new to following the NBA and basketball in general.

I’ve been following the game longer than you’ve been alive.

YOU ARE WRONG – and the books and coaches and players say so.

  • KHuang

He’s not interested in peace and reason, he’s here to FIRE PERSONAL ATTACKS and INSIST THAT LIN IS A LIAR.

  • Maknusia

    last warning…both of you…pls drop it…..
    @takeme2cruz:disqus n @KHuang:disqus

  • KHuang

    DONE.

Lin is NOT HEALTHY – if he were healthy, he’d be PLAYING.

  • takeme2cruz

    Why?

  • Vincent

yeah i like him, but he went a little too far this time lol. lets just hope lin comes back 100% healthy

  • KHuang

    Because ADMINISTRATION SAID SO.

Unlike you, I don’t need a reason to HAPPILY OBEY ADMINISTRATION.

  • Vincent

because all youve done is argue for the past hour.. and fire insults at khuang thats why

  • KHuang

He just has this minor technical misunderstanding about Lin’s health.

If Lin was healthy, he’d be PLAYING.

But Lin ISN’T – not yet.

  • takeme2cruz

I’m no sheep. Im here to talk bb nothing more. They wanted me to be banned then so be it. All I wanted is lin to be freed from organization agenda. He needed to play.

  • Vincent

    yeah unfortunately :/

  • KHuang

I’m definitely a SHEEP when Administration ORDERS ME AROUND!

I’m a guest here, I don’t run this place, I have to HAPPILY listen to their orders or leave. And I don’t want to leave, I LIKE IT HERE!

    BAA BAA

  • takeme2cruz

We’re in the usa. We talkour differeces. Who is khuang? Is he free from differenced?

  • takeme2cruz

    That might different between us.

  • KHuang

What, you don’t want to be ordered around by Administration?

You don’t want to OBEY THEIR COMMAND that we “drop it”?

Administration ordered me to drop our argument- and I have. But if you don’t want to and insist on continuing to fight, take it up with them and not me!

  • KHuang

I’m more relaxed about Lin’s injury than anybody here.

Injuries are part of the NBA, even the best players have their bouts of injury. And Lin really hasn’t been out that long compared to most other players.

Lin is on the verge of returning, but not yet. He’ll be back soon, and when he returns the Nets will immediately pick up where he left off in the Detroit game as WINNERS.

I’ve watched the NBA long enough to feel smugly confident in my prediction.

  • Steppen03

    Agree with KHuang!!!
Everybody have to calm down. It’s really still early in the season. The Numbers are not written in stone. Most Nets fans are not optimistic about this season – and no different feelings toward JL7. Lin was no All-Stars previous years. Lin was no superstar player. So, what’s there to be hyped about for the Nets fans. And I like it that way. We will build from the ground up. A dynasty. We’ll see. I’m not given up. KA and JL7 just getting started. We need him to be 110% before he returns. I don’t want to see him playing just 15-20min a game. I want him to play at full force at 35-40min.

  • Maknusia

First time watching (this season)…full GSW game…man I’m impressed…not with the offense since we all know their offensive power…defensively they are very sound…i’m totally impressive with their PnR defense…just superb!

  • psalm234

It can be frustrating when we don’t have the full information.
But we just need to trust Lin and the Nets. It’s not like we have any other choices.

If Lin starts getting frustrated, I will start to get concerned.
But he’s still okay now so he must’ve known he’s not 100% ready yet.

Let’s trust Lin and the Nets.

  • Maknusia

I have given temp ban to @takeme2cruz:disqus …continuing to ignore forum rules and mod’s advise

  • KHuang

Well, I hope he gets UNbanned very soon!

  • Maknusia

just to chill off couple of hours probably…maybe @michael can help him

  • KHuang

heh heh, I’d prefer Lin to play 30-34 minutes and not 35-40 minutes!

The Nets fans will love Lin – though we have to get up to 5 home games for Lin for the home crowd to learn how to spell “L I N!”

  • psalm234

Good point raised by the Nets analyst that Lin’s style of playing is hard on the legs so he needs to be fully healthy first

    @CNM_JLin_Vids
#Nets analyst: The way Jeremy Lin plays is hard on the legs.
Point is that it’s key to have his legs fully healthy for him to play well.
    https://twitter.com/CNM_JLin_Vids/status/801589125266685952

  • KHuang

    Sounds good.

  • KHuang

I’d like Lin to play the same fadeaway style he did against the Spurs last season.

Instead of ramming himself through the Spurs, Lin played conservatively and LIT THEM UP.

I often feel that Lin is most injury prone when he has lesser opponents guarding him, as Lin loves to athletically overpower the weaker defenders but will take a ton of hits in the process.

  • psalm234

Interesting that you mentioned Lin’s style vs the Spurs.
He was in the zone as far as shooting so he might not need to drive as much.

But Lin’s most reliable weapon has always been his drives and quickness so it must still be hard on the legs for most games.

In the past 2 seasons I’m glad to see Lin incorporate more Steve Nash’s style to ‘circle-around’ the rim to get his shots off. That should help extend his careers by 5-6 years

  • KHuang

But even on those circle arounds, Lin gets bashed hard by like 3 defenders.

At some point in the season, Lin’s teammates are going to have to play “Linball”. That’s when opponents load 2-3 defenders on Lin and Lin’s teammates attack the gaps created by Lin. The inexperienced Nets haven’t been on the court with Lin long enough to understand how they can exploit opponents loading up on Lin defensively. This has happened every season on every team since Linsanity.

Also defensively, Lin has had to exert himself because the Nets frontcourt (particularly RHJ and Booker) are constantly in the wrong position and are being constantly attacked. But that’s an easy fix because Lin will scream at those two until those guys actually learn how to play decent defense.

  • Vincent

so you dont like lin driving and playing pnr?

  • psalm234

I guess there are no easy ways around not playing JLin’s aggressive attacking style as he likes to call it ๐Ÿ™‚

great points. With more PT to play together, I’m sure Lin can get his teammates on the right defensive positioning. The Nets just need to have their floor general back.

  • KHuang

I do, but not when opponents are BLITZING Lin on defense while ignoring Lin’s teammates.

This is the NBA where any single play can be stopped, albeit with consequences elsewhere on the court.

Lin cannot beat teammates by himself. The other Nets need to step up and attack the gaps that Lin creates by siphoning defenders away from everyone else.

  • sport

Why Hamilton (center) and not Harris(SG)? Bojan can play his SF spot and Harris can be the SG? Since everyone isn’t keen on Bojan being the “PG”. I totally agree with you in regardings to who should being in the starting lineup and getting minutes. How can KA be blind to Chris McCullough’s talent as 1st round pick after after showing what he could do in only a few minutes in a previous game? I would get it if he didn’t want Chris McCullough to start but not even bench minutes this game but DNP? Why?!

  • KHuang

In the NBA, starting PGs like Jeremy Lin eventually learn to selectively attack.

Right now, Lin is too new to the Nets to be selective in his attacking. The whole team is looking to Lin to create for them, as that has been the identity of all the players up until this season. Lin WILL teach his guys how to attack effectively, and there were ample signs of that happening until his hamstring blew out. The more Lin’s guys can attack the gaps created by Lin siphoning defenders away, the less Lin will have to overexert himself to create shots for his teammates.

Lin is making the transition from a young overpowering raw athlete off the bench to a savvy veteran starter who picks his spots and conserves his health. In Lin’s case, it’s not driven by his own athletic limitations but by the sheer crushing weight of opposing defenses keying in on him.

And on defense, Lin improves every team he joins no matter how lazily the fake superstars are refusing to play defense. The Nets have the athletes and personnel and teamwork to become a GREAT defensive team, but they haven’t figured it out yet because Lin has been out.

  • psalm234

Lin might be out but he’s killin’ it with his GQ Style.
I wonder if he has a new stylist

  • Steppen03

Don’t understand you… I really care about This Team’s success AND Lin’s individual success as well but what’s there to rush when this team Obviously are missing serious talents (outside of JL7 & Lopez). We care about Lin’s well being so there’s no rushing him back if he’s not 120% ready – not just 100%. True Lin fans trust in him and his favorite coach (secured for 2-3 years) and disregard all other Lin haters and doubters. Lin’s IQ and true ability can still last 8-10 more years in this league like a Tony Parker and Nash.

    20161124 Nets VS Celtics
Kenny Atkinson On the Cautious Approach of Jeremy Lin’s Recovery.
Hard to blame him from wanting to protect Lin and players until they’re 100% ready to go

  • sport

Agree Lin’s style has definitely taken up a notch and he looks way cooler with these outfits.

  • sport

Again unlike other teams who forced Lin to return even when not 100%, Nets are taking care of him. Look at what happened to MKG with the Hornets. If Lin’s ready he would’ve said something but he’s obviously not. Just wait 2-3 more days and enjoy the holidays.

  • psalm234

    Remember the plaid shirt?
That’s why I’m sure he has a stylist hehe

    Or maybe a possible future GF/stylist ๐Ÿ™‚

  • CJSHYY

I think so even I want to see Lin on court but I agree w Nets to wait for him to be 100% to come back.

  • Joe what do you know

With this injury, I would also rather Lin having full recovery before coming back. I guess fans have seen too many players that were legit stars at one stage of their career but ended with mediocrity after rushing back from injuries. Lin is still a human being and humans have physical limits. I wouldn’t want to see him ending up battling nagging injuries like many others for the rest of his career…

  • psalm234

so GSW is getting better in their PnR defense?
I haven’t watched them yet; just read that they don’t hit 3s at high % in the early season

  • sport

Yes I remember the plaid shirt…was that considered bad? lol (it was bad for me). If Lin had a gf I’m sure the media would’ve been all over it already.

  • psalm234

idk about bad but I can’t say plaid shirt is a GQ style ๐Ÿ™‚

    maybe it’s stealth mode hehe

  • Maknusia

I think so…since this is my first GSW full game….they manage to break couple of PnR causing TOV to LAL. It was really cool to watch those….and the defense at the rim….they been tight and going hard….

  • sport

Harden is allowed to chuck as many shots at detriment of the team. Rockets aren’t going anywhere so long as he’s the main player.

  • sport

RHJ needs to go and I hope when he’s healthy he will be sent to D league or not return at all! His heavy minutes are another reason why Nets have been doing so poorly.

  • ZcodeSportSystem.com

Lin is not allowed to talk on his injury much, so I’m not sure whether Lin could get against their wishes by complaining by stating he’s ready now.

But as I’ve stated repeatedly, no one really knows the extend of Lin’s injury and there’s a chance Lin is 100% ready but Nets personal protocol is to force returning players to take extra weeks o the shelves.

No one really knows and anyone who suggest Lin is not 100% healthy are simply speculating…Just like anyone who believe Lin is 100% healthy and Nets are being overly-cautious, are also speculating.

I fall more on the side of people who believe it’s just the Nets being unnecessarily overly-cautious with Lin..My reasoning is based on how the Nets handles everything…Their protocol is to be patient on everything and to rest players and keep everyone under 30 minutes etc etc etc..

  • aggressiveplayer

Thanks for the positivity despite the losses and the depressing injuries.

  • sport

In the past when Lin was healthy and ready to go he would say something. Certainly if he was 100% he would’ve told KA to let him play. I don’t think they’re being overly cautious at all. We’re just used to Lin’s past teams not caring for their players’ health and forcing them to play even when injured. ex: last season Lin’s ankle was like a baseball but was still forced to play through it.

  • Maknusia

The thing about hamstring is, if you are not 100%, one is gonna exert the other hamstring to work hard, and that risks the other leg. Chances of injuring your other leg is high

  • aggressiveplayer

I hope RHJ and Whitehead are okay. Hope Lin returns soon. The team needs him.

  • ZcodeSportSystem.com

but again, you don’t know that…The Nets never told us the level of Lin’s hamstring…You see, every hamstrings can be quickly diagnosed and a doctor can give you a time-table for your return based on the grade of hamstring.

My guess is the Nets have their own personal time-table for all-types of injuries which probably have nothing to do with when the player is actually 100% healthy.

  • Rick James

So…how badly did the nets get wooped this time?

  • Rick James

Lin should start facilitating more instead of driving so much. Go for the easy layups, jumpers and 3’s. Let the younger kids do the hard work, their bodies are fresh and can take a beating. When we get closer to February, Lin can remove the “limiter” then

  • Rocky

Cannot agree more. Do not understand why some are speculating that Lin is 100% already. What is the base on that speculation? None of us knows the details of the injury. Lin had been rushed back too often in the past seasons. As a result, he carries chronic lower back issue. We don’t want to add another one to that list.

  • Maknusia

Its fine if you have your own perception, but I’m saying based on my first hand experience as a ex-practitioner

  • ZcodeSportSystem.com

Nets will probably keep players out for longer than other team injured players…That looks to be the protocol and extreme patience.

Problem with this is, the season is slipping away…By the time L;in comes back, the Nets may be in a deep hole.

  • joy

Exactly! And this injury is very different from the past. Lin knows that he can’t be rush to get back if he’s not completely healthy! It maybe even damage his whole career if he does. I’m so glad KA and the organization is cautious about it.

  • KHuang

THERE ARE NO easy layups, jumpers, or 3s.

The youngsters CANNOT take a beating and don’t even know how to work hard!

  • KHuang

People who think the Nets are holding out a 100% healthy Lin are MERELY IMPATIENT for Lin’s return.

    Healthy players PLAY.

Lin would make a big stink if he thought he was ready to come back but was being barred.

  • KHuang

    Same as always.

My first NBA game last night.

The very first impression with the NBA court coming out of my mind is …. small. I guess it is because the angle from TV camera makes the court bigger and because you have 10 tall players occupying the court. It feels like any NBA player can go from east to west in just several steps. And you can imagine all 10 players crowding the court, fighting for spaces.

OK, my observation of the game: (I was in section 31, 20 feet from the court)

    Nets:
Optimistically I think this team with Lin can compete and win against any teams, well except Cavs/GSW/Spurs if you know what I mean. Overall the energy and the efforts are there on both end of the courts. They compete hard. But as the game went along, it feels like a disorganized team playing. Most of the time, the sets were there, the plays were there and the defense energy were there. But it just feels like a NFL team without a quarterback, and all they can do is just run and run and hope for the best.

The turning point of the game was at the 3rd Q 4:05 where Booker was charged with an offensive foul with the score 67-64, Celtics leading. And then AK was charged with a technical, Then Horford shoot a 3. This is at best a 7 point swing. A bad call can really impact a game. So from there, everything went south for Nets. No one in Nets team can rally up the group to fight back.

Personally I think most of the NBA players play with instinct, relying on their skills and athleticism. Sometimes they just go for the rim even though there are open teammates. After all, points == $$

    Fans:
After this game, I feel sorry for 76ers fan. I can understand the feeling to losing. 1Q, the fans were so disappointed with the Nets lag by double digit. Then 2Q when the score was tied, you can feel the excitement of the fans. When the 3Q meltdown began (as usual), the fans began losing interests and some began to leave. Overall, I don’t feel fans taking the result seriously (maybe they are used to it), but 90% of the seats were filled. Yet I can sense indifference of fans to the game after losing. Again, I feel for 76ers fans.

A note about fans. Since fans pay decent dollar to come and watch the games, I don’t think any NBA team should tank on purpose. It is a ultimate disrespect for the sports and for the fans. Nobody like losing.

OK, players. Let’s start with Isaiah Thomas. Without Lin, he is the fastest player on the court. He just penetrated with wills and pass out assists or score with layups. I can image the games without Lin against the elite guards like WB or DL. The perimeter defense from Nets is nonexistence,

    Lopez:
He needs more touches in a sense of getting to his spot. 4/14 won’t do. But he needs someone to feed the ball to his sweet spot. From time to time, he just stood behind the arc and no one cared to pass the ball even if he was open there like a tree (court vision?). When he extends his arm under rim, it feels like he could almost touch the rim. And I confirm a story by a poster about Lopez wanted to sit next to Lin. After Lopez sub out in 3Q, he waved the player sitting next to Lin over. Lin sit right after the coach groups 5 or 6 seats from the HC chair. (Is it normal to have an injured player sit next to the coach group? I thought the norm is at the end of the bench.)

    Booker:
He was the most active player on the court, both ends. Always hustle and always fight for offense rebounds. In several occasion, Nets could have the rebound if one more player was there fight for the ball with Booker. Got to give him credits for the efforts.

    Scola:
Two words, Slow and soft. Can’t hold a reboud and always boxed out.

    Harris:
His shooting is good. I just hope AK can set up more plays for him.

I didn’t pay too much attentions to other players. But the post about them confirmed what I see.

Again, just my observations. Happy Thanksgiving.

  • CJSHYY

In the spirit of Thanksgiving. I’m thankful that Brook is the type of unselfish player who has such great affinity towards Lin and embraced him openly, even more than Kemba who’s also good to Lin since they don’t play the same position. After a string of Melo, Harden, Kobe as the villainous jealous teammates, it’s very refreshing to watch Lin playing with Kemba and Brook.

When Lin was in Houston, I thought the day would never come to watch Lin play with similar unselfish team like the Linsanity Knicks cast.. haha..

  • CJSHYY

DM sure can help & I really hope Nets can get him.

  • spiderman

For right price yes. I’m sure D-Mo is itching to get away from crazy Harden and Beverly

  • KHuang

DMO would be a tremendous help to the Nets.

But not as much as PSYCHO T.

  • KHuang

    Great post.

I don’t agree on Booker though, his defensive coverages of the pick and roll and in protecting the boards are ATROCIOUS.

Linstructor will really have to work hard with Booker to teach him not to give up on defensive plays and not to overcommit to the wrong side of the ball and to rotate much harder instead of GIVING UP when the ball is passed away from his man.

Booker is one of the prime reasons the Nets are giving up tons of shots at the 3 pt line and at the rim.

  • psalm234

Many of us probably often get blank look from family and friends when we start talking JLin stuff ๐Ÿ˜„

Despite JLin still recovering for a few more games, there’s still a lot to be thankful for: he found a trustworthy coach/GM/franchise who looks out for his best interest, he’s back in NY with great unselfish teammates and fun team that we can cheer!

  • Acbc

Couldn’t agree with you more. Until these defenders know that there’s a price to pay for being overly aggressive, they will continue to gang up on the only one guy that can hurt them. It’s imperative that Nets players learn to fill lanes and make shots to make them pay. That’s the only way that Lin can be effective to drive the hoop. Right now they are just trapping him as soon as he even makes any moves.

Haha. Great observation and analysis of an NBA game. Honest referees play a very significant role in a contact sport like 5 on 5 basketball game. Vegas gambling odds also make the NBA unprofessional and loss in entertainment appeal and made the game unwatchable at times with too many meditated bad calls or no calls. IMO the ref and NBA fraternity is manuplating the odds of the betting to get a more balance punt committed so far on the Nets to prevent a big loss to the bookies. That is ‘full time professional entertaiment’ in the States anyways. Haha cheers

I liked this excerpt from the article. Atkinson does sound like a genuinely nice guy …

“Lin, the teamโ€™s starting point guard, has remained involved by manning a clipboard on the bench during games so he can chart a self-styled version of offensive-efficiency statistics.

“Linology,โ€ Atkinson said. โ€œItโ€™s beautiful. Itโ€™s his way of showing he cares. He asked me if he could do it, and I said, โ€˜Yeah, sure.โ€™ And he just does it, and he hands it to me after every game, and then I hand it to โ€” you know, Iโ€™m not exactly sure where it goes.โ€

  • CJSHYY

I don’t like this… “then I hand it to โ€” you know, Iโ€™m not exactly sure where it goes.โ€

Yea not sure what’s that suppose to mean. Does it mean that what KA does needs “approval” from somewhere (higher ups of FO maybe?) At least that’s what I think he meant. Meaning Lin can have suggestions on coaching but it will need the approval of FO and KA isn’t totally free to do whatever he wants?

  • sport

Yes and this season looks like a bust anyway. They need to acquire way more pieces and i get a feeling many of the current guys will be gone. Who knows if Bog will stay after his one year rental unless nets gives him a big offer he can’t refuse.

Even though KA isn’t a good coach you have to appreciate the fact he allows Lin to be almost a Assistant Coach and telling players what to do from the sidelines. The only coach and PG relation I can think of is Pop and Parker. Pop even allowed Parker to sit in the coach’s seat and give out orders during a timeout to tell the players what to do. It’s certainly a special relationship, if only KA was as great a coach as Pop.

So tired for waiting. Why Nets can’t give the details of Lin’s return plan?

  • Arsenium12 .

Jeremy with Master Lo. Apparently, Master Lo will be back in Taiwan soon …

So I guess Lin will be back to court soon. Next week….

  • Maknusia

How can one give timeline, when the player is still recovering…unless a player is recovered and just need last stretch of stretching and rehab, then a timeline can be fixed.

  • Maknusia

Thanks to all the members here as well, had been true JLIN fans

Usually, the injury report will give a rough timeline, especially Lin already had the 2nd evaluation and KA said “proceeding according to schedule” . So what the schedule is?
From Yahoo, Lin had a hard 45-minute workout during this Monday’s practice. So Nets may just want to keep as secret.

  • Dan cohen

    he did.. he said Linology.
That is respect in my opinion.

  • aggressiveplayer

I’ve been meaning to say this for a while now, and I think it’s gotten to the point where I can’t stand it anymore. Can we please stop bashing on Kenny Atkinson and the players? After every game we lose people start pointing fingers, criticizing and saying outrageous things. After every game I hear things like “___ should get sent to the D-League” or “we should trade ___ he’s garbage” and coach should do this.. coach should do that.. why didn’t he do this.. hes losing on purpose.. yadda yadda yadda.

It’s easy to blame people, and it’s usually naive to think you know more than them and can do better. Try putting yourself in their shoes, and see if you can withstand the incredibly difficult task they’re given while also withstanding these huge amounts of criticism.

It’s already been frustrating enough watching the Nets get blown out and I don’t need more negativity to end the day. Let’s just wait for a majority of the season to play out, then we can (respectfully) voice our opinions on how everyone has done.

  • james brown

i like Psycho T than DMO…i saw from previous season that a little for dmo recognition can easily goes to his head unlike Psy, he’s humble and hungry for opportunity though he lacks little skills!

  • Spot

It means he doesn’t know how far will go this thing of Jeremy helping him in coaching.

I’m sure this injury will be a big boost for Nets and Jeremy cause now Jeremy knows his teammates better and knows perfectly the playbook cause he made it by himself =)

It really comes down to freedom of speech. If things are going wrong and bad, there is obviously something that is not working and people try to pinpoint that (whether they are right or wrong about it). They will often overshoot because many have an emotional response and corresponding opinions. Critique may be misdirected, but often where there is smoke, there often is fire. I suggest that if you don’t like negativity or can’t take it, just use the block feature.

It’s hard to be positive about amassing losses and tbh, I’m not sure people should be positive about that aspect, since it will feeds into the perception of mediocrity being fine.

Part of being in the entertainment business and being paid millions is being in the public spotlight and having criticism fired at you constantly. Eventually, fans are what pay their massive salaries. That’s why some people shy away from it. Unfortunately, it has always come with the territory.

It’s extremely hard to be positive about losing, except for the perennial losers.

Jeremy Lin missed sorely as sinking Nets head to Indy

“Jeremy Lin canโ€™t return soon enough from the injury list if the Nets hope to regain the competitive edge they displayed to begin this season. In the nine games Lin has missed since suffering a strained left hamstring, the Nets (4-10) have gone 2-7, including five straight losses in which they have been overmatched by the opposing backcourt.

When they face the Pacers (7-9) on Friday night in Indianapolis, it will have been 23 days since Lin suffered his injury in a win over Detroit. He has made significant progress in individual workouts but hasnโ€™t been cleared to practice fully. Coach Kenny Atkinson made it clear that the organization will take a cautious approach and have him return gradually to regain full strength.”

    http://nothinbutnets.com/2016/11/23/jeremy-lin-lopez-leadership/

“However, Lin brings a different dynamic to the court. Itโ€™s clear that he elevates the level of play of those around him when heโ€™s facilitating, and thatโ€™s part of how he acts as a leader. When someone is struggling, Sean Kilpatrick, for example, Lin can do whateverโ€™s necessary to feed the ball in good spots for easy shots. He has that power because heโ€™s a ball dominant guard.

Off the court, however, itโ€™s a different story. Lin is brilliant โ€” a Harvard guy who scored a perfect 800 on his advanced math SAT II subject test โ€” and can teach the Xโ€™ and Oโ€™s to the younger guys on the team, especially the secondary ball handlers. When he watches film with Yogi Ferrell, Isaiah Whitehead, Kilpatrick, or anyone else, he can show them what they did wrong or what they didnโ€™t do.

It could be something simple, like making a bounce pass instead of a chest pass. It could be something more complex, such as making a skip pass to the opposite corner on drives because you know that your teammate is going to be left open as his man rotates to help.”

    I can’t stop bashing RHJ.

    He’s REGRESSING every game.

I see zero NBA skills or even athleticism from him. I will not stop bashing any NBA player who I don’t feel deserves to be in the league. RHJ would struggle in the D League, let alone the NBA.

I’m not a Booker fan and feel he plays atrocious team defense because he gives up too easily on defense, but I’ll barely tolerate him because he seems to have finally figured out that he’s not Shaq inside and that his game is dribble driving (very effectively, I might add).

And the guy I will never stop REALLY bashing is Greivis Vasquez who was not only injury ineffective but who I felt was a major contributor to Lin’s injury due to his halfhearted disinterested play. But at least the Nets correctly waived him off the team, which I strongly feel will save the season once Lin returns.

So other than RHJ, I am completely pleased with the entire Nets team including Booker.

  • Arsenium12 .
  • BobbyH

Hope so. Patience is running out. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • sws94

    RHJ is also out now.

  • Dan cohen

I told you.. earliest is in december that linna will come back to play.

  • KHuang

Good, that means the Nets might slide Bojan to the 3 and start either Kilpatrick or Harris at the 2.

  • KHuang

I’m VERY POSITIVE about these Nets!

I love the coaching (Lin seems to have settled Atkinson down), love the rotations (OK, more CMC and Bennett for me but I accept them not playing), and I love the truly gritty efforts the Nets do.

Any team lacking its first and second string point guards would struggle like the Nets are.

When Lin comes back, the Nets will soon lock into place and they will WIN all the way to the end of the season.

true, McCullough has more upside than DMo

  • psalm234

I think DMo camp wanted to decline if not mistaken

  • psalm234

DMo would help to win now even with the injury risk.
The biggest drawback is the Nets has to let go of someone; for some reason IMO they might not be ready to do so

  • psalm234

true, Kemba is not as unselfish as Brook but compared to Kobe, Harden, Melo, he is a saint lol

I truly hope to see Lin and Brook dominating in 2-3 years. Just need to be extra patient ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Barry Allen

Agreed, they are down right now with injuries but it happens to the best of teams. I still have faith Lin can lead them back if he comes back early enough.

  • cdblue10

Nets won’t compete this season, they’re just trying to cruise and waiting for that 2-3 quality players that could help Lin and Lopez to solidify their lineups. If they got Crabbe and Johnson in the beginning then we would have seen a competitive team.Expect to see a different Nets next year.

  • guest

Bought NBA 2k17. Can’t even play exhibition game with Lin due to injury and not being able to get injury free roster due to it not being available. Lin is being erased from the NBA. Hehe.
