Jeremy Lin and the 16-13 Hornets should win this game against the 5-26 Lakers but the question is how big is JLin’s role in it? Will JLin start in place of Batum who is listed as probable? If JLin plays well against the Lakers, would the Lakers extend an offer in the off-season after Kobe Bryant retires and Byron Scott is no longer the coach? JLin played very well against the Hornets last se... »

After a road win at Memphis, Hornets has lost 5 out of 6 games before they face the Grizzlies again tonight. The only game they won was when JLin started in place of an ill Batum. Has the Hornets offense become too predictable with too many 3s and not enough PnRs? With Al coming back with the 2nd unit tonight, will it help the Bench Force 1? Will Kemba and Batum poor 36% shooting in the past 5 gam... »

G28 BOS @CHA Notes & Observations

The Hornets lost another game 89-102 against the Celtics. They’re quickly slipping in the Eastern playoff race, slipping to #10 It’s the same problem with starters unable to build lead and allowing the Celtics to blow up the lead to 17-20pts in the 3rd quarter with unorganized offense consisting of Kemba and Batum ISOs without much ball movement. When Lin was inserted, he helped with t... »

Jeremy has played very well in the last 5 games averaging 17pts/4.4ast/3.8reb with 52%FG and 40% 3FG. The Celtics is another tough matchup and 2 quick quards in Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley. The Hornets would need to shoot better and defend the 3pt shooting if they want to win this game Let’s go, JLin! Let’s continue to shoot at least 10 FG  & 4 FT attempts. Relax, be your aggressive ... »

G27 CHA @HOU Notes & Observations

The Hornets lost the game 95-102 over the Rockets because they shot poorly (34.9%). JLin finished with 13pts/5asts. Unusually he missed 2 late FTs to make it 2pt game with 17 seconds left (93-97). Fatigue might be a factor here since JLin played the last 20 min straight without rest. But overall, he played quite well although not in rhythm due to early foul trouble. He managed to get Dwight Howard... »

Over his last 5 games,@JLin7 is now averaging 17.6pts on 48.4% shooting along w 4.4reb/3.8ast/1.4blk. Would it continue in this game or even be better against his old team? Would Jeremy guard Harden as the SG position in the 4... »
